About Kelly Sloan: As a classically trained singer from the musically lush Ottawa Valley who spent a third of her life in the eclectic Halifax music scene, Kelly Sloan’s music is undoubtedly hard to label.  Her music has been described as “soul-infused folk,” “Canadiana flare,” and “country-roots rock.”  Her two studio albums, Always Changes (2008) and Kelly Sloan (2010), offer a unique balance of old-time simplicity and a unique and earnest depth of emotion. Since replanting her roots in the Ottawa music scene, Kelly has showcased at the Ottawa Bluesfest, Ottawa Folk Festival, she opened for Jim Bryson, Josh Ritter & Justin Rutledge & was the recipient of the Galaxie Rising Star Award in 2012.

About Kelly Prescott: Kelly Prescott hails from two musically renowned family lines, spanning three generations from Northern Ontario, Nova Scotia and the Ottawa Valley. She has naturally inhered the foundation to follow her musical heart, drawing inspiration from her great Canadian roots. Kelly is one of the lead singers of the alt-country band, The Claytones with Anders Drerup, Adam Puddington and Pat McLaughlin. Together they have a musical chemistry few groups can match with tight, three-part harmonies, beautiful arrangements and a warm stage presence.

About Shannon Rose: Drawing on influences of classic pop, soul, country, punk, and rock music, Shannon Rose & the Thorns focus on melody and songcraft. Rose’s voice is rich and captivating and she and her band perform with soulful conviction.Rose has released two full-length albums, and is set to release a third in September 2014.
