Silkken Laumann cut its teeth playing sweat-parties for Ottawa's architecture students in 2011, playing hour-long improv sets of pounding live, psych-house. The band spent two years immersing themselves in Ottawa's DJ scene, which has gone on to produce international artists like A Tribe Called Red. Their first two videos: “On The Mend” and “House Of Common Problems” cemented them as deep and dark force in Ottawa's electro underground.
