Farewell Davidson is an evolving band of four hard-working and ambitious Ottawa musicians. The band released their debut EP entitled “Hometown Lights”, containing six original tracks ranging from ambient indie to straight up Rock & Roll. The band is known for its versatile yet distinct sound, and will lift you up with their energetic style and memorable hooks.

“Hometown Lights” was recorded at Studio 169 with producer Bryan Ruckstuhl (who recorded and produced the likes of YouTube sensation Julia Dales). The EP draws influences from artists such as Tokyo Police Club and Jack White. It has received recognition from local and commercial radio stations across North America and Europe. The bands single, “Late Night News”, was reblogged by Alan Cross, a notable Canadian radio broadcaster, in a segment called “I Like This”.

Farewell Davidson have played at well-known venues such as The Divan Orange in Montreal, and The Blacksheep Inn in Wakefield, sharing the stage with artists such as Toronto-based band Teenage Kicks and Big Money Shot winners The Strain and Autumns Cannon. The band gets behind causes they believe in, such as MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving), by playing benefits and raising awareness about the issue. The band is working on their second EP, and are continuously present energetic performances, meaningful songs and, most importantly, they engage and surprise fans, while challenging themselves artistically.
