New Orleans band The Iguanas are: Rod Hodges on guitar & accordion, Joe Cabral on sax & guitar, Rene Coman on bass, Doug Garrison on drums, and Eric Lucero on trumptet.

Based out of New Orleans for the past couple of decades -- save for a short, Katrina-imposed exile in Austin -- the Iguanas define a sound of Americana that crosses cultures, styles, eras, and even language. Vocalist and guitarist Rod Hodges combines his Mexican heritage with Americana and New Orleans-rooted music, singing many of his songs and vocal parts in Spanish. These Latin influences shape the music and live performances of the Iguanas in a way only a New Orleans act can pull off. The Iguanas pursue a wide array of musical influences in various aspects of blues, New Orleans music, roots, and rock ‘n’ roll. For roots fans, this show should be included on your must-see list!
